Mission, Volunteerism, Community Service

Our Mission

The mission of The HOOD, is to create a welcoming environment that advocates for, promotes, and facilitates the positive development of at-risk youth and disadvantaged families.  To provide tools that empowers the youth and families to find their inner strength.  To establish programs that specialize in a unique style of service delivery that is client driven and user friendly.  We will engage our clients (youth/families) in a client's first perspective in an effort to maximize their ability to make life changes, recognize their potential, and enhance their quality of life.

By providing a positive environment, a welcoming atmosphere, and real opportunities to all those we serve; we can empower them with the tools needed to enhance self-determination and their ability to make the changes needed to reclaim their individual desire to DREAM again.

Community Service

As the grass grows under this organization we will be providing more and more opportunities for youth and adults to volunteer and serve.  Your service and support will be used to help provide resources directly to the communities you live.  If interested in helping please contact us.
